Please note:
-
Any scholarships not taken up in one intake are rolled over to the next intake within that calendar year.
-
Unallocated scholarships in one category cannot be transferred to another category.
-
If more applications are received for a category in any intake than the number of scholarships available, a panel from Tech Futures Lab will decide who will receive the available scholarships based on the value of any other (non-Tech Futures Lab) scholarships received; evidence of financial hardship/need and the relative strength of the candidate’s application statement regarding alignment of their goals with the Master’s or Postgraduate Certificate programme. All decisions will be final and are not subject to appeal.
-
Scholarships are subject to candidates successfully meeting eligibility criteria for the Master’s or Postgraduate Certificate in addition to the specific criteria for the scholarship.
-
Master's applicants can receive Māori or Pacific Scholarship, Travel Scholarship and Earlybird. HPDE students can receive Māori and Pacific Scholarship, and Earlybird, but not travel scholarship as well. Masters and Human Potential applicants can receive early bird and travel scholarship.
-
Scholarships cannot be held over if an eligible candidate decides to postpone their study to a later intake. Candidates who postpone their study can re-apply for the scholarship when they decide to start their programme. It is not guaranteed that candidates who re-apply will be successful.
