Director of Innovation

Priti Ambani is an engineer, researcher, entrepreneur, educator and mom whose life has led her from India’s Mumbai, to America and now New Zealand. Her professional career began in civil and environmental design. From working in global teams, Priti has a deep understanding of the dynamics of digital collaboration, co-creation, emerging disruptive technologies and its impact on our societies. Her perspective is unique on account of her Indian roots, cultural intelligence, global interactions with diverse collaborators and her role as a mother.

As Director of Innovation at Tech Futures Lab, Priti shares her insights into the future of work, business and society, introducing individuals and businesses to possibilities springing from emerging disruptive technologies.

Priti is also co-founder of two business based on her passions. ItsNoon is a digital platform where people and organisations can share ideas and creativity (supported by micropayments) to build meaningful relationships with their communities, customers and stakeholders. The Next Billion, is an impact-driven enterprise that pools collective resources to invest in female-led businesses.

Candidates studying the Master of Technological Futures are enrolled with The Mind Lab which is approved by NZQA to award this qualification.
